We DO NOT ship Live Culture products, such as Liquid Culture and Inoculated Substrates, to California, Georgia, or Idaho due to state regulations.

When you place an order online, we provide estimated shipping and delivery dates based on UPS Ground shipping method along with the availability of the items purchased.
Typical ship lead times are within a few days from order date.

Returns & Replacements
If your order is damaged in transit and becomes contaminated or arrives contaminated without shipping damage, please email us your order number, proof of shipping damage (if applicable), and contaminated product(s) with lot number(s). This information is MANDATORY for any type of replacement.
You, as the customer, are financially responsible for any shipping charges that may accrue for replacement product(s). By completing your sale, you are agreeing to these terms.

1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OPTIONS
Domestic Shipping:
Daily order cutoff time is 4pm Mountain Standard Time.

2. PROCESSING TIME
Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days and guaranteed to ship within 5 business day(s) excluding weekends and public holidays (unless otherwise stated). The daily order cutoff time is 4 PM Mountain Standard Time. If you require expedited processing, please contact us before placing your order. Once the item has been handed to the delivery carrier, a tracking number will be sent to the customer. Expedited processing/shipping is available upon request and is subject to an expedited processing fee, if it applies.
3. CANCELLATIONS
After an order is submitted, processing begins and the order can be canceled by us before it is shipped. After it has left our facility there will be a fee to return the box/stop movement, all excess fees acquired will be paid by the customer unless an agreement is made. If there are questions about canceling an order, please contact us.
4. RETURNS
Returns will be accepted within 14 day(s) from the original purchase date. Items must be returned unused and in original condition. Some items, such as items on sale, may be ineligible for returns. For more information, Refund Policy. Returns will not be accepted for reasons outside our control or due to a shipper/shipping issue that unless approved first.
5. DELAYED ORDERS
In the case of delayed processing, customers will have the option to cancel their order for a full refund. Shipping provider delays do not fall under the seller's liability. For delayed orders, please first contact the shipping carrier for the item's status.
6. DAMAGED ORDERS
The Mushroom Champ is not liable for lost or damaged products after the order has been placed in the hands of the shipping carrier. If your product has arrived damaged, reach out to us immediately so that we may assist you in filing a claim with the shipping provider but ultimately it is the customers responsibility to file a claim. Damaged orders must be reported within 7 days of arrival in order for a claim to filed with the carrier.
7. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Orders can be shipped to P.O. boxes, but it does cost more to ship to a P.O. box.
The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) has restrictions on what items can be shipped through air-transportation in the US. As such, any authorized items for air shipment may require a different shipping method.
8. Fictitious Names and Inaccurate Shipping Addresses: Please note that using fictitious names or addresses that do not match the shipping destination is prohibited under federal law, specifically 18 U.S. Code § 1342. This law aims to prevent fraud, identity theft, and other malicious activities involving mail carriers, including the United States Postal Service (USPS) and private carriers. If a package is returned to The Mushroom Champ due to the use of a fictitious name or an inaccurate shipping address, The Mushroom Champ will refund the cost of the product after deducting the original shipping cost and the return shipping fees incurred. If your package is returned with a notice such as "Addressee was not known at the delivery address noted on the package," it is the customer's responsibility to contact the carrier for assistance and provide proper identification.
